Design Office Engineer in Industry

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements and standards in the design and manufacture of products/applications, while respecting quality, costs, and deadlines. Your mission also includes studying the results of manufacturing processes and designing solutions to optimize them; your responsibilities include design in response to specifications, creation of technical files, technical project support, and the resolution of technical issues.

Your missions in this context are: Design a new product for which feasibility has been demonstrated:

• Analyze the customer's technical needs, associated processes, and applicable standards
• Research and develop a technical solution meeting the specifications
• Write technical justification files for the customer and internally
• Define the requirements for control, assembly, and manufacturing means
• Determine the qualifications to be implemented and ensure follow-up until validation
• Perform technical process feasibility studies (Repeatability & Reproducibility studies)
• Perform, if applicable, the process AMDEC
• Analyze the initial technical file (prototypes) and justify industrial optimizations

Develop the manufacturing file:

• Perform the contract review
• Write purchasing specifications for components
• Establish manufacturing lists and associated times
• Compile the production technical file (quality plan, manufacturing and control instructions, etc.)
• Lead the resolution of technical difficulties
• Capitalize on design and manufacturing best practices

Contribute to communication with the customer:

• Participate in project progress meetings and customer audits
• Contribute to the analysis of customer feedback and the implementation of corrective actions

Optimize the existing process:

• Analyze malfunctions at different stages of the manufacturing process
• Study production improvement and loss reduction projects, in connection with the relevant managers
• Study new processes or improve existing ones based on production objectives; Follow the integration of new technologies and supervise the testing and process development stages

Profile sought Holder of an engineering degree with good knowledge of mechanics, thermal, electricity, and materials and processes.
