WORKING AT THERMAFLEX Process Operator Extrusion

You know the extrusion process inside out. And you pass that knowledge on.

Are you the operator who can tell from the sound of the line that something is not right? Can you not only keep a process running, but also make it better? And do you enjoy taking colleagues who are still learning the trade along in what you know? Then we are looking for you.

We are Thermaflex, based in Waalwijk: an international company with a down-to-earth Brabant culture. From our factory we make smart insulation solutions that are used worldwide in homes, hospitals, offices and industry. We operate in more than 45 countries, but you still get your own coffee from the machine. Our colleagues consciously choose to work here, and you notice that in the atmosphere on the shop floor.

How will you make an impact?

As a Process Operator Extrusion, you are responsible for running the process line. You change over, set up and start up, you monitor the process during production and you step in when needed. You are deployed on Extrusion and you lead the machine operators and production employees around you.

How do you do that?

• You prepare the machine line, change it over, set it up and start up the extrusion or recycling process.
• You operate the machines during production and adjust the settings based on deviations.
• You resolve malfunctions and escalate in good time what you cannot fix yourself.
• You lead the machine operators and production employees in your shift.
• You monitor the quality and quantity of production and record output and consumption.
• You pass on your knowledge of the process to colleagues who are learning the trade with us.
• You contribute ideas for improvements to the process and to the line What makes you our new colleague?
