For our headquarters in Neuenstadt near Heilbronn, we are looking for immediate support as a Technical Writer (m/f/d). Contribute to making our technical documentation (operating instructions, assembly instructions) legally compliant, standard-compliant, understandable, and user-friendly.

Your tasks:

• Creation, maintenance, and updating of technical documentation such as operating and assembly instructions, safety and conformity documents (e.g., EU declarations of conformity)
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines regarding operating/assembly instructions (e.g., Machinery Directive, EMC, PPE Regulation)
• Research of technical content in cooperation with specialist departments
• Control and coordination of translations
• Creation and editing of illustrations, graphics, and images
• Support with layout, formatting, and quality assurance
• Setup and maintenance of editorial and documentation systems
• Support in the development of editorial standards, terminology, and style guides

What you bring:

• Completed studies or training in the field of Technical Writing, Communication, or comparable
• Experience in creating technical documentation and knowledge of relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards
• Good knowledge of the MS Office and Adobe (Acrobat, Photoshop) package
• Confident handling of editorial systems
• Very good English skills
• Very good technical understanding and the ability to present complex content in an understandable way
• Independent, reliable, structured way of working as well as teamwork skills and enjoyment of shared success
