Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service and guest services throughout their visit.
• Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system;
• Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
• Recommend menu items and use thoughtful upselling to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle payments and transactions accurately, including cashiering, cash handling, and basic math.
• Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures when serving, preparing, or transporting food and beverages.
• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.
• Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
• Use strong time management to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements

Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Food and Beverage Server to provide welcoming, efficient service in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests, works well with a team, and can balance accuracy with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Food service experience, serving, or restaurant experience is preferred; experience in the broader food industry or hospitality is also valuable.
• Familiarity with POS systems is helpful, and Micros POS experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation practices is preferred.
• Kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
• Comfortable with basic math, handling transactions, and maintaining accuracy while working at a steady pace.
• Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and a guest-focused approach are essential.
