Requirements
*Role: SEN Teaching Assistant** Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience supporting children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – Supporting communication, social interaction and sensory needs.
- ADHD – Helping pupils with concentration, emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) – Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) – Helping children develop their communication and interaction skills.
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) – Providing tailored learning support.
- Complex Needs – Supporting pupils who require additional care, individualised learning and structured routines.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference in children's education
- Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
