Work Place Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Salary: $6000 - $7000 Working Days: 6 Days Alternate Saturday Off, 8.45am - 6pm Location: Changi Responsibilities Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards Recommend changes to protect workers, and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs Investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future Ensure that monthly inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Exit Lights and Emergency Lighting are carried out Formulate and administer comprehensive Risk Management and review safe work procedure Prepare and update Safety and Health Management System Implement training programs and safety promotion plan to ensure safety awareness that the operations are safe and in compliance with statutory regulations and international standards/practices Lead and manage safety inspections and audits; provide advisory roles for internal audit team
