Sales Executive (Construction / Heavy Equipment)

Salary: $4,500 + Commission Working days: Monday - Friday Working hours: 8:30am – 5pm Location: Tuas

Responsibilities

New Business & Product Development

  • Identify new business opportunities, products and markets through market research.
  • Establish relationships with manufacturers/vendors.
  • Develop business proposals to secure new distributorships.
  • Support the setup and launch of new products/businesses.

Sales & Account Development

  • Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
  • Conduct customer and job-site visits to understand requirements and propose solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and deliver product/application presentations.
  • Drive sales volume, revenue, gross profit and margins.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and quotation progress through CRM.
  • Monitor sales performance, market share and competitor activities.

Marketing & Market Development

  • Gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities.
  • Support trade shows, seminars, advertising and other product marketing activities.
  • Strengthen product/brand presence in the market.

Subsidiary Sales Support

  • Work with overseas subsidiaries to support sales growth.
  • Provide sales leads, market intelligence and joint customer visits.
  • Support sales teams with product/application knowledge and sales proposals.
  • Review sales progress and develop action plans with subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • A-Level, Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales and marketing, ideally within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
  • With business development experience is an advantage
  • Technical background is preferred
