Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Group Finance team and oversee the full spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, treasury, taxation, audit, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, Board reports and other financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review SGX announcements and ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Work closely with external auditors, bankers, legal advisers and other professional parties on finance, compliance and corporate matters.
- Lead investment and acquisition projects from evaluation through completion, including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, financing, funding and transaction execution.
- Support the acquisition and injection of assets or projects into the listed company, including financial modelling and other corporate exercises.
- Evaluate and structure appropriate financing solutions for projects and acquisitions, including debt, equity and other funding options.
- Prepare financial models and feasibility studies, including ROI, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis.
- Monitor the financial performance of investments and projects against approved budgets and expected returns.
- Identify financial and investment risks and provide timely updates and recommendations to the Chairman, CEO and Board.
- Support corporate finance initiatives and other strategic projects as required.
- Serve as Company Secretary and ensure proper corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements are met.
Job Requirements
- Possess CPA, CA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience in a senior finance leadership capacity.
- Hands-on experience working within the finance function of a Singapore-listed company.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in SGX reporting, announcements, listing requirements and corporate exercises.
- Proven experience handling investment or acquisition transactions from evaluation through due diligence, valuation, financing and execution.
- Experience in project or acquisition financing, funding structures and corporate finance activities.
- Experience handling corporate secretarial matters or acting as Company Secretary will be highly advantageous.
