Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Student Care Teacher, preferably in a senior or lead capacity
- Strong experience managing and teaching primary school children
Job Scope
- Supervise primary school learners during student care hours.
- Guide learners in daily homework, corrections, spelling, revision and schoolwork.
- Provide academic support in English language, Mathematics, Science and other primary-level subjects where required.
- Manage classroom activities and student behaviour according to centre guidelines.
- Monitor learners’ academic progress and classroom performance.
- Provide regular updates to parents on learners’ academic progress and behaviour.
- Plan and conduct enrichment, holiday and experiential learning activities.
- Prepare lessons, worksheets, teaching materials and classroom resources.
- Establish and maintain classroom routines and teaching practices.
- Guide and support junior Student Care Teachers where required.
- Assist the Centre Principal and management team with daily centre operations and programme implementation.
- Ensure classroom activities and programmes are conducted according to the centre’s standards and procedures.
