[0580] Sales Engineer [Industrial Automation / Motion Control] - Macpherson/ 5 days/ $6k + Comm
Location: Macpherson
Working days : Monday - Friday (830am to 530pm)
Salary: $4000 - $6000 + Commission
Job Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with direct customers, distributors and business partners
- Promote industrial automation, motor and motion control products to new and existing customers
- Understand customers' technical and application requirements and recommend suitable product solutions
- Prepare product introductions, technical proposals and solution recommendations based on customer needs
- Provide technical support to customers and assist in resolving product application issues
- Follow up closely on customer projects from initial enquiry through technical discussion, quotation and project progress
- Conduct product and technical training for distributors, business partners and customers when required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow account sales
- Gather market and customer feedback and provide input on product requirements and new market opportunities
- Work closely with internal technical, product and marketing teams to support customer requirements
- Conduct regular customer visits and outdoor sales activities
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related discipline
- With relevant experience within the industrial automation, motor or motion control industry is preferred
- Possession of a Class 3 driving licence and own vehicle is preferred
