Salary: $3,800 - $5,200 Working Days: 5.5 Days Working Time: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Mon to Fri) | 8.30am – 12.30pm (Sat) Location: Toa Payoh (Office) / Site
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring work progresses according to project requirements and schedule.
- Requisition resources required for projects, including labour, materials, equipment and other resources.
- Plan and coordinate timely delivery of materials and resources while minimising wastage.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and supervise their work to ensure project progress meets schedule.
- Liaise with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work and statutory authorities on project progress, work acceptance, plan approvals and site matters.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department on the delivery of items purchased for the project.
- Handle contract administration, including claims, disputes, variations and final accounts, and ensure proper project handover to customers upon completion.
- Conduct project planning, prepare and manage shop drawings, Material Requisitions and Quality Plans.
- Monitor and control material stock at site, conduct incoming material and equipment inspections, and perform quality checks on work done.
- Ensure site execution follows valid approved drawings and relevant Architect, Engineer, client or main contractor instructions.
- Raise non-conformance reports and execute corrective methods where required.
- Ensure safety practices are followed, arrange overtime work when necessary, and resolve work coordination or technical issues at site.
- Provide on-the-job training to new project staff and perform other duties as assigned Superior
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Able to read, interpret and apply technical information and drawings.
- Experience in project planning, site coordination and subcontractor supervision.
- Proficient in data gathering and analysis
