Location: Jalan Boon Lay
Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
Working hours : 8am – 5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am – 12pm (Sat)
Salary : $3,200 - $4,500 (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
- Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure the availability of critical components and prevent operational delays.
- Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support, spare parts procurement, and maintenance services.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in automation systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
