MFL Teacher – Sheffield
The Supply Register is working in partnership with local schools in Sheffield to recruit a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for flexible supply opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about languages and inspiring students to develop their communication skills and cultural understanding across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The role includes:
- Delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet learner needs
- Encouraging active participation and a love of language learning
- Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress
- Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
- Collaborating with department staff and wider school teams
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching a modern foreign language at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
