What You'll Be Doing as a Property Compliance Manager Take ownership of the full tenancy journey, from the first enquiry through to move-in. Manage the tenancy progression process, including referencing, Right to Rent checks, tenancy agreements and deposit registration. Make sure every tenancy file is fully compliant before move-in, with all statutory documents completed and issued correctly. Complete landlord onboarding checks and make sure all information is recorded accurately. Book viewings and check-ins, and make sure any works following check-out are instructed and completed quickly to keep void periods to a minimum. Keep portal listings accurate and up to date, and progress property sales with solicitors, buyers and mortgage brokers. Keep the CRM and property management systems accurate, identifying and following up on missing notes or incomplete records. Carry out regular compliance audits and system checks, raising any risks or issues with senior management promptly. Produce clear and accurate reports for senior management, while identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes. Act as the operational backbone of the office as the Lettings Administration and Compliance Manager, working closely with the Head of Lettings.
What We're Looking For as a Property Compliance Manager Previous residential lettings experience is essential. A proven track record of progressing tenancies from application through to move-in, ideally in a Senior Lettings Administrator, Tenancy Progressor or Lettings Administration and Compliance Manager role. Good working knowledge of lettings compliance, including Right to Rent, referencing and tenancy paperwork. Excellent attention to detail, with pride in keeping accurate records across multiple systems. Confidence to challenge poor record keeping, missed steps or gaps in compliance, and hold colleagues accountable for taking ownership. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with landlords, tenants, contractors, solicitors and colleagues. Confident using CRM and property management systems, as well as Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Reapit or Goodlord would be a real advantage. GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
