ESN Category Planner (gn) (Manager - Materials Management)

Your start in the Operations Team at ESN!

As an ESN Category Planner (gn), you are responsible for the holistic planning of one of our product categories and ensure that the right products are available at the right time. You combine commercial goals with operational planning, proactively manage risks, and, together with Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain, create the foundation for sustainable growth. Your mission with us

• You are responsible for the end-to-end planning of your ESN product category across Demand, Supply, Inventory, Availability, and Innovation
• You are a central planning partner for Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain and translate business priorities into sound planning decisions
• You manage the balance between Demand and Supply and coordinate production requirements with internal production as well as external production partners
• You are responsible for the planning of product launches, portfolio changes, and End-of-Life management, ensuring a healthy Product Lifecycle
• You identify inventory, availability, and planning risks early on and drive appropriate measures forward together with relevant stakeholders
• You represent your category in cross-functional planning and S&OP processes and continuously develop planning through data, automation, and AI

Your experience and skills

• You have a completed degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a comparable field
• You have experience in Demand Planning or a comparable analytical role in a Supply Chain environment, ideally in the field of Sports Nutrition or CPG
• You have strong analytical skills, commercial understanding, and can confidently translate data into clear recommendations for action and planning decisions
• You convince through strong communication skills, question the status quo, and persuade stakeholders across departmental boundaries with your ideas and solutions
• You are proactive, take responsibility, and enjoy solving complex planning challenges in a dynamic environment
• You have very good English skills; German skills are a plus
