Your tasks
We are seeking a motivated and positive Junior Software Developer to join our dynamic and fast- growing team. The Junior Software Developer to support the implementation and development of business systems across our catering businesses.
You will work closely with the internal project lead and business users to improve quotations, sales orders, kitchen coordination, procurement, delivery and finance workflows. The role involves configuring and developing custom features, integrating existing systems and supporting users.
- Work with the project leads to understanding requirements and complete assigned development tasks.
- Configure ERPNext forms, custom fields, reports and document templates.
- Develop and maintain custom features using Python, JavaScript and the Frappe Framework, with technical guidance where needed.
- Assist with API integrations and data imports.
- Test changes, investigate issues and fix bugs.
- Maintain code in Git and document changes clearly.
- Assist with user testing and application support.
Requirements
- Diploma, degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON and Git.
- Ability to debug issues, test changes and write maintainable code.
- Willingness to learn ERPNext, the Frappe Framework and business workflows.
- Ability to communicate clearly with nontechnical users and raise questions or blockers promptly.
- Attention to detail when handling customer information, pricing and operational records.
- ERPNext, Frappe, data migration or business application experience is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
