RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide customer service to customers, by assisting customers, and providinginformation and product knowledge, which is maintained through beingdependable for all scheduled shifts.
2. Process customer transactions on the point of sales system.
3. Provide packaging of customer purchases at the checkout counter, whennecessary to ensure efficient service for the customer.
4. To provide a neat, clean, and well merchandised front-end at all times.
5. To be familiar with and adhere to Pioneer Co-op policies and procedures.
6. To assist in general stock duties, including receiving and pricing of products andensuring that all overstock in put away in warehouse in an organized andprofessional manner.
7. To achieve accurate cash balances and proper handling of all transactionsincluding: credit cards, gift card/coupon procedures, and cheque cashing.
8. Adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Willingness to further knowledge through training.
4. Physically able to do heavy lifting.
5. Be able to work all shifts including evenings and weekends.
6. Operate warehouse forklift, perform deliveries in the Grocery van, and orderingand receiving.
7. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive. Therefore, it is subject to PioneerCo-ops Alcohol and Substance Policy as a condition of employment.
