Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation processes.

Partner with department heads to identify workforce requirements and succession plans.

Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles.

Employee Relations & Performance Management:

Foster a positive employee experience and maintain healthy employer-employee relationships.

Manage disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisals, goal setting, and development plans.

Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees.

Learning & Development:

Identify training needs and develop learning and development initiatives.

Coordinate leadership development, employee engagement, and capacity-building programs.

Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll:

Oversee payroll administration in collaboration with the Finance team.

Manage employee compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.

Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive compensation structures.

Ensure accuracy of employee records related to compensation and benefits.

HR Operations & Compliance:

Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.

Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory regulations.

Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation.

Oversee leave management, attendance, and HR information systems.

Organizational Development:

Drive employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives.

Support change management and organizational restructuring projects.

Develop HR metrics and reports to support management decision-making.

Recommend initiatives to improve employee productivity and retention.

Stakeholder Management:

Advise management on HR strategies and workforce planning.

Collaborate with department heads to improve team performance and operational efficiency.

Prepare monthly HR reports and workforce analytics for executive management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, HRCI (PHR/SPHR), or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in professional services, financial services, manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality, construction, or real estate is an advantage.

Sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices. 

Key Performance Indicators: Time-to-fill and quality-of-hire for open positions. Employee retention and turnover rates. Timely completion of performance appraisals. Employee engagement and satisfaction scores. Training completion and effectiveness. HR policy compliance rate. Payroll accuracy and timeliness. Resolution time for employee relations issues. Compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
