Experienced Line Cook ? Full-Time

The Oxley is looking for an *experienced Line Cook* to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who has developed a solid foundation working in professional restaurant kitchens and takes pride in being organized, prepared and consistent.

The right candidate should have *a minimum of 4 years of professional kitchen experience*, strong fundamental cooking skills and an understanding of what is required to run a station properly through a busy service.

This is a full-time position for someone who takes the profession seriously, wants to continue developing their skills and values being part of a disciplined, supportive kitchen.

• Minimum 4 years of professional cooking experience
• Strong basic culinary and knife skills
• Ability to organize, prepare and maintain a station
• Comfortable working independently during service
• Able to work effectively as part of a kitchen team
• Good understanding of food safety, sanitation and proper food handling
• Clean, organized and disciplined working habits
• Reliable, punctual and able to take direction
• A genuine interest in food and continued culinary development

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain your station for service
• Execute dishes consistently and to established standards
• Maintain proper mise en place throughout service
• Keep your station clean, organized and properly stocked
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate effectively with chefs and other members of the kitchen
• Assist with prep, receiving, storage and general kitchen responsibilities
• Contribute to maintaining the standards of The Oxley kitchen
