JOB SUMMARY
The Senior HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR administration, and general employee relations support. This role acts as a key point of contact for employees on HR-related matters and ensures HR processes are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policy and applicable labor regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment: posting job vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling and coordinating interviews.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and administer pre-employment requirements (documents, background checks, offer letters).
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including orientation sessions, induction materials, and first-week check-ins.
HR Administration & Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (personal data, contracts, attendance, leave) in the HRIS or company database.
- Prepare HR documents and letters, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, and certificates of employment.
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate attendance, leave, and employee data to the payroll team/provider.
- Administer employee benefits enrollment and respond to employee queries regarding benefits.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees on general HR questions, policies, and procedures.
- Support the resolution of employee concerns and escalate complex issues to the HR Manager/Supervisor as needed.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal communications.
Compliance & Policy Support
- Support the HR Manager in ensuring company policies comply with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for labor audits, BPJS (or equivalent statutory programs), and other regulatory reporting.
- Monitor and help enforce compliance with company policies (attendance, code of conduct, etc.).
Performance Management Support
- Assist in coordinating the performance review cycle, including tracking submission deadlines and consolidating review data.
- Support managers with basic guidance on performance management processes and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist, HR administration, or recruitment role.
- Working knowledge of Indonesian labor law and standard HR practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia; working proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small HR team.
