Daycare Team Member
Noble Canine Oasis | Singapore Love dogs and want to work with them professionally?
We're looking for a Daycare Team Member to join our team at Noble Canine Oasis. You'll be working hands-on with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities and play styles while helping us maintain a safe, structured and enjoyable daycare environment.
This isn't just a job where you spend the day playing with dogs. A big part of the role involves learning to understand canine behaviour, supervising social interactions, maintaining the facility and making good decisions around the dogs in your care.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising dogs during group play, rest and enrichment activities
- Monitoring canine body language and recognising early signs of stress, discomfort or over-arousal
- Helping manage appropriate play and intervening when necessary
- Moving and handling dogs safely between different areas of the facility
- Assisting with feeding, rest periods and daily routines
- Conducting enrichment and structured activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the daycare
- Cleaning up after dogs — yes, there will be plenty of pee and poop!
- Providing basic updates and observations about the dogs
- Working closely with trainers and senior daycare staff
- Following established safety procedures and daycare SOPs
- Assisting with other day-to-day operations where required
Who we're looking for
Previous professional experience with dogs is helpful, but not essential . Training will be provided.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely comfortable working with dogs of all sizes
- Is observant and interested in learning about canine behaviour
- Can remain calm and think clearly when situations become challenging
- Is physically comfortable being on their feet and active throughout the day
- Is responsible, punctual and reliable
- Communicates well and works well within a team
- Is willing to learn and take feedback
- Understands that animal care also involves a lot of cleaning and routine work
- Takes safety seriously
What you'll learn
You'll receive hands-on training in areas including canine body language, play and social interactions, arousal and stress signals, safe handling, group management, enrichment and our daycare operating procedures.
We don't expect new team members to know everything from day one. We do expect you to be willing to learn, ask questions and apply what you're taught.
Working Hours
5-day work week
