Waiter & Waiter Assistants

The dining area of The Monzù House, which belongs to the Abros Group, is looking for a Waiter & Waiter Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Table preparation, placing tablecloths, cutlery, and glassware
• Presenting the menu and providing detailed information upon request (e.g., regarding portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
• Taking accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff
• Serving food and drink orders
• Checking plates and service ware for cleanliness and presentation, as well as reporting any issues
• Meeting with restaurant staff to be updated on daily specials, menu changes, and specific reservation requirements (e.g., parties)
• Providing excellent customer service

Required Qualifications:

If you perform well in fast-paced environments, have team spirit, and can communicate effectively with our kitchen staff, we would like to meet you Please keep in mind that the duties of a Waiter / Waitress may include working shifts and/or occasionally on weekends and holidays

• Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress
• Knowledge of the English language is essential
• Practical experience using cash registers and ordering systems (e.g., Revel POS or Toast POS)
• Observational skills and patience towards customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts
