Programme Co-Ordinator
London South Bank University is seeking to appoint a Programme Co-Ordinator to support the delivery of one of the most ambitious estate transformation programmes currently being developed within the UK higher education sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates and Academic Environment Directorate and help support programme management, governance and reporting framework that will support the delivery of the Southwark Campus Masterplan.
Situated at the heart of Elephant & Castle, LSBU's Southwark Campus is the focus of a long-term estate transformation programme designed to create a modern, connected and sustainable campus environment. The emerging masterplan will support future academic ambitions, enhance the student experience and create a platform for future capital investment and development activity across the estate.
Reporting to the Strategic Estates Master Planner, the Programme Office Co-Ordinator will be a key member of the Project Delivery Team, working alongside Development Project Managers and senior stakeholders to support programme delivery, governance and performance management across a growing portfolio of projects. You will help ensure projects are delivered within a structured framework, maintaining consistency, visibility and effective control across the programme lifecycle.
The role will play a critical part in maintaining programme controls, project workflows and reporting processes. You will coordinate project programmes and interfaces, support capacity planning, maintain project databases and dashboards, oversee document management processes and provide high-quality reporting to support informed decision-making. You will also contribute to programme governance by maintaining risk and issue registers, decision logs, project procedures and performance reporting systems.
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate experience supporting capital project portfolios through structured programme management processes. You will have experience of programme planning, project tracking, reporting, document control and the maintenance of project information systems. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational and analytical skills, together with the ability to manage information accurately across multiple projects and stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to a major estate transformation programme while developing your career within a progressive and ambitious university environment. LSBU offers a highly supportive culture, flexible working arrangements and an excellent benefits package, alongside the opportunity to be involved in projects that will shape the future of the University for years to come.
