Junior Privacy Analyst

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Junior Privacy Analyst to join their team on a 12-month FTC basis.

Working in their collaborative London office, the successful applicant will support with a range of daily privacy operations and the monitoring of regulatory developments. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the full privacy compliance lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring UK and European regulation and regulatory guidance developments to identify compliance requirements.
• Reviewing and maintaining GDPR compliance documentation.
• Assisting with the review of Privacy and Data Protection provisions in agreements.
• Replying to privacy inbox queries, preparing training materials, and assisting with privacy audits.
• Supporting the preparation and management of Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Assisting with administration surrounding DSARs, completing document reviews and redaction.
• Logging incidents and providing breach response support.
• Updating relevant firm policies and procedures.
• Assisting with audit and inspection preparation.

As such, the firm are looking for organised and proactive candidates who have gained 1-3 years of relevant paralegal or compliance experience, within a legal or professional services environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Privacy & Data Protection legislation is highly desired.

The firm are offering a competitive salary of £45-60,000 & leading benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
