Coding & Robotics Teacher (Young Children Aged 5–9) The Lab Education Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, patient and committed Coding & Robotics Teacher to join our team. This role focuses on introducing young children aged 5 to 9 years old to coding, robotics, computational thinking and problem-solving through fun, interactive and hands-on learning experiences. No prior programming experience is required. We welcome candidates who enjoy working with young children and are willing to learn. Experience or knowledge in coding, robotics or educational technology will be an added advantage. We are looking for someone who can create an engaging classroom environment where children learn through play, exploration, creativity and experimentation. Responsibilities Conduct coding and robotics lessons for children aged 5 to 9 years old.

Guide children in building and programming robots using educational robotics kits such as LEGO robotics.

Introduce basic coding concepts through age-appropriate, hands-on activities and block-based programming platforms.

Facilitate learning through games, challenges, storytelling and creative projects.

Adapt teaching approaches according to children's ages, abilities and learning pace.

Encourage children to think logically, solve problems independently and learn from their mistakes.

Prepare lesson materials, set up robotics equipment and ensure resources are ready before classes.

Maintain a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour and keep young learners focused and involved throughout lessons.

Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' learning progress when required.

Participate in school activities, workshops, holiday camps and other educational programmes when required.

Ensure that robotics kits, laptops and classroom materials are properly organised after each lesson.

Requirements Enjoys working with young children aged 5 to 9 years old.

Patient, caring, responsible and enthusiastic about teaching.

Good communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.

Able to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.

Willing to learn coding, robotics and new educational technologies.

Able to follow a structured curriculum while adapting to children's learning needs.

Prior programming or robotics experience is not required, but will be an advantage.

Experience with LEGO robotics, Scratch, block-based programming or other educational technology platforms is a plus.

Prior teaching, tutoring or experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teachers.

Working Schedule Working Days: Wednesday to Sunday

Both Saturday and Sunday are required working days.

5-day work week.

Working hours will include teaching, lesson preparation, classroom setup and administrative duties.
