Game Development Teacher (Chinese Proficiency)
The Lab Education Centre is expanding, and we are looking for a passionate and capable Game Development Teacher who is proficient in Chinese to join our growing team.
This is more than a teaching role. You will be joining us at an exciting stage of expansion and product development , where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and refinement of our game development programmes for students.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Teaching game development and programming to children and teenagers
- Guiding students through game design, coding and creative problem-solving
- Supporting the development and improvement of our game development curriculum
- Contributing ideas and feedback during the product development process
- Creating an engaging and encouraging learning environment for students
- Supporting the development of Chinese-language learning resources and programmes
Requirements
- Must have completed the Singapore Education System
- A grade in Chinese at both O-Level and A-Level
- Higher Chinese is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken
- Strong interest or experience in game development, programming or computer science
- Comfortable working with children and teenagers
- Able to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently
- Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new ideas
- Passionate about education and helping students develop their skills
- Need to be able to work on both weekends. Monday and Tuesday off.
