Programming Teacher Young Learners

Your tasks

1. Main duties:

• Teach the Algorithmics curriculum to children aged 5–12, using our online learning platform. Courses include Coding Knight, Digital Literacy, Visual Programming and Game Development.
• Lead fun, interactive lessons with stories, games and hands-on activities.
• Keep children interested and active with suitable teaching methods.
• Manage the classroom and support children with different learning needs.
• Track student progress and work with the Academic team to support learning.
• Help with trial lessons, catch-up lessons and student progress updates when needed.
• Join scheduled educational events during the year for professional development.

Requirements

• Education or skills: A degree (or currently a 3rd or 4th year student) in Education, Teaching, IT, Computer Science or a related field, or a certificate in teaching or technology. Equivalent proven skills (for example a portfolio) are also accepted.
• English: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. No certificate required. CV must be in English.
• Experience: At least 6 months of teaching or working with children.
• Skills:
• Good communication and classroom management.
• Positive energy, patience and creativity to keep children engaged.
• Able to use stories, games and activities to teach young children.
• Able to guide children through basic digital skills, visual programming and creative projects.
• Passion for education and working with children.
• Technology knowledge (a plus): Basic programming concepts. Experience with Scratch, coding robots or other kids' technology tools.
• B2B (a plus): Daytime weekday availability and willingness to travel to partner schools.
