Hyde is looking for an Insurance Claims Advisor to join our collaborative and customer-focused Insurance Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive environment that champions employee wellbeing, continuous learning and long-term development.

As an Insurance Claims Advisor at Hyde, you will manage property and liability insurance claims from the first notification through to settlement and closure. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, insurers, brokers, loss adjusters and other partners to gather evidence, progress claims and provide clear updates throughout the claims journey.

Key Duties

  • Manage a varied caseload of property and liability claims, ensuring they progress efficiently from initial notification through to settlement and closure.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, colleagues and external partners, providing clear, timely and professional updates.
  • Gather and assess evidence, documents and other information required to investigate, validate and resolve claims.
  • Maintain accurate claims records, prepare reports and identify recurring issues, emerging risks and areas of concern.
  • Escalate complex, disputed or high-value claims and recommend improvements to claims processes and the customer experience.

As an Insurance Claims Advisor, we’re seeking someone who can bring:

  • Experience of managing insurance claims, particularly property damage and liability claims.
  • Knowledge of the claims process and the roles of insurers, brokers, loss adjusters and other claims partners.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally and sensitively.
  • Experience of gathering evidence, supporting claims investigations and producing accurate records and reports.
  • The ability to prioritise a varied caseload and confidently use Microsoft Office and claims or case management systems.
  • Hold a Cert CII or equivalent insurance qualification (essential).
