Role Description The Home School Tutor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dawaki, Federal Capital Territory/ Abuja, Nigeria.

The tutor will design and deliver daily lesson plans across core subjects appropriate to the learner’s age and curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and family expectations.

Responsibilities include explaining concepts clearly, guiding practice activities, monitoring progress, assigning and reviewing homework, and providing regular feedback to learners and caregivers. The tutor will create an engaging, structured learning environment, incorporate diverse teaching resources, and adapt methods to different learning styles.

Additional day-to-day tasks include maintaining records of academic performance, preparing basic assessments, collaborating with parents or guardians on learning goals, and supporting learners in developing study habits, critical thinking, and self-discipline.

Qualifications

Qualified teacher with TRCN Post-NYSC
