Must-have:Lead

The Grand Store Limited is Nigeria's only authorised Sharp Calculator distributor. We are building something serious in the education and stationery market, and we need a serious person to lead it. You must be able to hit the ground running from day 1.

This is not a role for someone learning the ropes. We need a proven sales leader who knows the stationery and education supplies market, understands how schools, distributors, and corporate buyers make purchasing decisions, and has the hunger and structure to build a high-performing sales operation from the ground up.

What You Will Own

  • Full responsibility for Sharp Calculator revenue across all channels: schools and private education institutions, corporate and B2B, open market and bookshops, and government
  • Building, leading, and developing a field sales team with clear quotas, structured call plans, and weekly accountability systems
  • Establishing and managing key relationships with HODs, school proprietors, procurement officers, bookshop buyers, and trade partners
  • Designing and executing the channel strategy across Lagos, Abuja, South East, and other priority markets
  • Setting up the sales infrastructure: territory planning, target-setting frameworks, CRM discipline, reporting cadences, and pipeline management
  • Driving Sharp onto school supply lists and into corporate procurement processes
  • Owning monthly sales targets that are steep, tracked, and directly tied to your commission

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong background in stationery, education supplies, FMCG, or consumer goods — someone who knows this market, not someone who needs to learn it
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets, with numbers you can speak to
  • Experience selling into schools, institutions, or structured B2B environments
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail and distribution landscape across multiple states
  • Ability to build sales systems from scratch: territory maps, call plans, incentive structures, reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Someone who leads from the front and is not afraid to be in the field alongside the team

What You Will Earn

₦550,000 base salary per month

Commission structure tied directly to revenue performance

Steep targets, steep rewards — this role is built for someone who wants to earn significantly more than the base

Who Should Not Apply

If you are looking for a comfortable role with modest targets, this is not it. We are building for serious revenue growth and we need someone who finds that exciting, not overwhelming.

To Apply:

Send your CV and a brief note on your specific experience in the stationery or education supplies market to ayofemi@thegstore.ng . Applications without relevant market experience will not be considered.
