Objective:

Manage department operations in accordance with operating manuals, hygiene and sanitary regulations, authorized budgets, and branding in order to meet the objectives and expectations of the guests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospitality
• Advanced English

Knowledge:

• Master the preparation and presentation techniques of your specialty.
• Deep understanding of the gastronomic history and culture associated with your specialty.
• Hygiene and safety standards
• Knowledge of wines and beverages

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the standards, policies, and procedures established by the company to guarantee quality in service.
• Verify compliance with hygiene and sanitary regulations to guarantee food safety.
• Verify that kitchen utensils and equipment are used according to technical data sheets in order to prevent their deterioration or loss.
• Coordinate and schedule area activities with the work team in consideration of occupancy and F&B scheduling to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Create and implement menus applying cost and market analysis to meet the food budget and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise that dishes are prepared according to the recipe book, special diets, and allergies to ensure consistency of the dishes, guest dietary preferences and/or restrictions, and to reduce waste.
