Group Management Accountant

£60,000 - £70,000 | Kidlington, Oxfordshire | Permanent The Employment Network is recruiting for a technically strong and ambitious Group Management Accountant to join a successful and growing business based in Kidlington. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role covering management accounting, group consolidation, intercompany accounting, budgeting and forecasting, alongside management of an Assistant Management Accountant. There is genuine progression available, with the potential longer-term to step into the Financial Controller position and become No.2 to the CFO . Key responsibilities: Monthly management accounts and financial reporting Group consolidation and intercompany accounting/reconciliations Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end Management information, KPIs and financial analysis Business partnering and identifying opportunities to improve performance and processes Management and development of an Assistant Management Accountant Year-end and audit support About you: Strong technical management accounting experience ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or strong QBE Strong Excel and analytical skills Experience managing/developing junior finance staff Proactive, commercially minded and confident challenging existing processes Ambitious and keen to progress Group consolidation/intercompany experience advantageous, but not essential Sage Intacct experience advantageous Happy working full-time, office-based in Kidlington
