Open Rank Position

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the master’s program in human rights at the rank of assistant/associate/full professor. The successful candidate will be expected to assume their appointment in August/September 2027.

The successful candidate should have a strong academic background in human rights, with demonstrated expertise in the human rights context of the Arab region. This includes a solid understanding of legal systems, human rights conditions, and the political and social challenges facing the region.

The candidate will be expected to teach graduate-level courses, particularly in international humanitarian law and international criminal law, and should have experience in curriculum development and course design. They will also be expected to supervise master’s theses and contribute to the continued development of the program's academic and research environment.
