Delegate Acquisition Manager French Speaking

To £50k + uncapped commission, £100k OTE London, hybrid or remote

One month. Three events. £13,000 in bonus. That is what one current team member earned after delivering their targets across three events. This is not a theoretical six-figure OTE or a commission scheme nobody reaches. The interesting bit? You do not need previous delegate acquisition or events experience. You do need fluent French, strong knowledge of asset management and the confidence to engage senior investment professionals in credible conversations.

The role

You will be joining a growing international executive events business that brings together influential fund selectors, institutional investors, discretionary managers and global asset managers at specialist fund forums across Europe and the Americas. The business is entering new markets and looking for someone to build the senior audience for its French-speaking events. You will research, approach and secure the right investment professionals for each forum. The typical target is around 20 qualified delegates per event, with commission rewarding you for hitting the number, exceeding it and delivering the right quality. This is not about filling seats. You will be speaking with senior people who understand the industry and expect you to understand it too. Your knowledge of asset management is what will help you open conversations, establish credibility and explain why the event is worth their time.

What you will be doing

• Identifying senior fund selectors and investment professionals across the French-speaking market
• Building relationships through targeted calls, emails and outreach
• Communicating the value of each event clearly and credibly
• Securing qualified delegates against defined targets
• Managing your own pipeline across several international events
• Working closely with the events and commercial teams
• Travelling internationally to attend and support the events you have helped build

This will suit you if

• You speak fluent French and English
• You know the asset management market
• You can hold your own with senior investment professionals
• You are commercially driven and motivated by uncapped earnings
• You enjoy building relationships but are not afraid of targeted outbound activity
• You want your performance to make a visible difference to what you earn

Previous experience in events, delegate acquisition, recruitment, business development or another target-led role would help but is not essential.

• Your French is not fluent
