Love animals and enjoy bringing out the best in a team? Join us at The Collar Club. 💛 We’re looking for a caring, organised and dependable Assistant Store Manager to help lead our River Valley outlet.
Your tasks
You’ll play an important role in making each visit a positive experience for pets and their families, keeping appointments running smoothly, supporting our team and ensuring our standards of care are consistently met.
Create a welcoming customer experience
- Respond to enquiries, manage bookings and keep pet parents updated.
- Recommend suitable services and packages based on each pet’s needs.
- Handle feedback and resolve concerns calmly and professionally.
Keep the outlet running smoothly
- Coordinate daily appointments and workflow across the team.
- Maintain accurate customer records and clear service instructions.
- Ensure store procedures, hygiene standards and safe pet-handling practices are followed.
- Step in with practical support during busy periods.
Lead and support the team
- Guide staff on daily priorities and service standards.
- Support staff training and encourage good teamwork.
- Help the outlet achieve its service and sales goals.
- Take ownership of daily issues and follow through on solutions.
Requirements
🌟 Who we’re looking for
- Experience supervising a team or managing daily operations, preferably in retail, hospitality, customer service or the pet industry.
- Confidence handling dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes safely.
- Clear communication and strong customer-service skills. (able to communicate in both Mandarin + English, as we have a lot of Chinese speaking clients)
- The ability to handle customer concerns with patience and sound judgement.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise during busy periods.
- A dependable team player who enjoys being actively involved in daily operations.
- Pet-care and product knowledge would be an advantage.
- Able to commit to the Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
What we offer
S$3,000–S$4,000 monthly + monthly incentives + 13th-month salary 5-day week · Fixed Monday & Tuesday off · All public holidays off
