Job Title: Farm AgVenture Attendant Contract Period: August 21st - September 7th, 2026Pay Rate: $17.60 / hr 

ABOUT US  Looking for a summer job that’s fun, by the waterfront and gets you access to one of Toronto’s most iconic events? Come join our team at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)! 

The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!

Responsibilities Set up and tear down activity stations

Demonstrate program activities to guests

Encourage guests to interact with the activities

Supervise activities

Check activity supplies to ensure adequate availability/quantity and restock when necessary

Ensure that program areas are properly maintained and presentable at all times

Answer basic questions from the general public regarding programming, attractions, facilities and services

Required Skills Friendly disposition

Responsible Attitude (as young kids are in their care)

Ability to communicate with a variety of age levels

Patient

Energetic

Customer Service-oriented

Able to work with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications Minimum Age Requirement: 14 years

G2 class licenses is an asset (for one specific station)

Experience working with young children in a group setting is preferred

Available to work all 18 days of the fair with the exception of scheduled days off

Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends

Able to attend Mandatory Orientation Session

Special Conditions Ability to stand or remain in stationary position for long periods of time

Located in a busy area; constant interruptions

Must be comfortable working in the presences of animals and barnyard smells

Ability to engage positively with children and their caregivers

Required to dress in appropriate uniform
