Contracts Manager

Location : Loyang

Responsibilities

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial and contractual aspects related to the main contract and subcontracts, managing any commercial and contractual risk relating to the project.

• Provides contractual advisory and support from the commercial perspective to the project through all stages:construction, subcontracting, completion and handover.
• Proactively engages in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
• Identifies, assesses and manage /advise on contractual risk
• Manages contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
• Possesses interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders, thinks strategically and critically, exercising judgement after consideration for all aspects.
• Possesses analytical andproblem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Degree in the Built Environment or related fields.
• Must be conversant and have in-depth knowledge of PSSCOC. Familiarity with SIA, REDAS, and NEC would be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
• Must have worked in Singapore for at least 5 years.
• A high level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and a result-oriented approach
