Senior Plumbing & FireFighting Design Team Lead

Lead and oversee the design of Plumbing & FireFighting systems from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.

Develop and review Basis of Design Reports (BODR) , design criteria, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.

Prepare and review Life Safety Reports , ensuring compliance with applicable fire, life safety, egress, occupancy, and building code requirements.

Lead the preparation and review of BIM/Revit models and coordinated design drawings .

Develop equipment schedules, material specifications, vendor lists, and BOQs .

Ensure designs are technically sound, coordinated, code-compliant, and aligned with project requirements.

Review and approve design deliverables produced by the team.

Coordinate closely with Architecture, Structure, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues.

Attend client meetings , present design solutions, and address technical requirements and comments.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and design support to the Plumbing & FireFighting team.

Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables meet required quality, deadlines, and project standards .

10–15 years of relevant experience in Plumbing & FireFighting design.

Strong hands-on experience in the design and technical development of Plumbing & FireFighting systems.

BIM / Revit is a MUST.

Proven experience leading design teams and managing design deliverables.

Strong knowledge of relevant international codes, standards, and design practices .

Experience preparing BODRs, specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules, and vendor lists .

Strong client-facing and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Medical Gas systems experience is preferred.
