Retail Sales Associate

Our client is seeking a customer-focused and results-driven Retail Sales Associate to drive sales, support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in fashion, design, art and culture. Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional shopping experience. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products. Follow up on sales leads and convert enquiries into sales. Explain product features, benefits and pricing accurately. Drive sales through effective upselling and cross-selling. Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems. Maintain updated customer records and build lasting customer relationships. Ensure effective product merchandising and visual presentation. Perform daily store opening and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised shop floor. Monitor stock levels, maintain inventory records and support merchandise ordering. Reconcile sales records with the relevant Finance and Inventory teams. Prepare sales reports and other required documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to support retail operations and business objectives. Comply with company policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties. Required Skills and Competencies

Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong communication, negotiation and sales skills. Knowledge of retail products, consumer behaviour and buying patterns. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, sales software and Microsoft Office. Good data entry, record-keeping and reporting skills. Strong organisational, planning and time management skills. Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks and work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Education and Experience

BSc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of two years' experience in retail sales or a similar role. Experience in customer service, merchandising, sales and inventory management is desirable. Behavioural Competencies
