Your daily life
The Toulouse Champollion site brings together activities in satellite systems engineering, payload design and manufacturing, and ground segment development and qualification. It also includes a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures, as well as activities related to ultra-low temperature science, with the development and production of micromechanical coolers for demanding markets.
Thales Alenia Space plays a major industrial role in the IRIS² project by contributing to the technical design, payload manufacturing, and program governance, as a Core Team Member of the SpaceRISE consortium. The PA manager is one of the key players in the project, alongside the Project Manager, the PMO Manager, and the PDA (Project Design Authority). They report hierarchically to the Quality Department and are responsible for ensuring the application of the project's Quality Assurance Plan to which they are assigned.
They are the preferred interface for the Client of Thales Alenia Space regarding the Quality aspects of the program and report functionally to the Program Manager.
Within the project, they guarantee the application of contractual Quality requirements, the application of internal processes, and customer satisfaction, while preserving the interests of Thales Alenia Space.
To this end, the PA Manager must gather, validate, and present to the Thales Alenia Space Client the elements (evidence) demonstrating that the product complies (or will comply) with contractual requirements.
Missions Coordinate Quality activities on the project (Quality Assurance of internal and external products, Reliability, Safeguarding, EEE Components, Materials & Processes, Radiation, Production & AIT, Software) and manage the allocated budget Participate in risk analyses on the project and ensure the application of the risk management plan Participate in reviews and meetings with the Client, following the rules defined by the QMS / Client SOW framework Participate in the processing of non-conformities on the project and the identification of their root cause, as well as the processing of applicable alerts.
They may exercise their right to alert or veto at any time.
Profile:
10 years of experience in programs
Fluent English
Knowledge of project management basics (Space Life Cycle and Reviews).
Knowledge of the basics regarding equipment qualification (QM, PFM, FM)
Ability to lead meetings/reviews as chairman (review, NRB) Ability to analyze situations, identify risks, and synthesize complex situations
Management of criticality and priorities
Autonomy and teamwork, interpersonal skills, information sharing
Adaptability to interface with different stakeholders (External Client, internal TAS JV, suppliers, internal Project and AIT)
Knowledge of ECSS Quality Series
Knowledge of Payload and Satellite architecture
Knowledge of equipment test sequences, Payload and Satellite AIT
