IT Quality Assurance Engineer (M/F)

About the company

Project-based CDI Within the Quality Department of Thales Alenia Space, you will join a team dedicated to the quality of space systems and software, composed of approximately 30 people distributed between France and Italy. Based in Toulouse, you will work on software and test equipment (EGSE), ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable processes, and quality standards. In this capacity, your main missions will be as follows:

Your tasks

• Define and perform software quality assurance and control activities on a set of products under development or maintenance,
• Act as Software Quality Manager, in liaison with system and software engineering teams, as well as with internal or external customers and suppliers,
• Guarantee the application of quality assurance rules defined in the company's framework and contracts, as well as the compliance of delivered products,
• Prepare and participate in reviews and milestones of assigned software projects, ensuring compliance with applicable processes and customer satisfaction,
• Participate in the definition and experimentation of new processes and approaches regarding software quality, in connection with new developments,
• Provide relevant key performance indicators (KPI) to evaluate the effectiveness of quality activities and contribute to continuous improvement actions based on results and feedback,
• Ensure the proper application of software quality assurance requirements and practices by suppliers.
