Your daily life: We provide and support systems for the management and protection of airspace. We work with passion within a modern architectural framework, striving to push the boundaries of technology in our key sectors. Located south of Paris, our site is easily accessible by public transport.
The Algorithm, Simulation & Performance department's mission is to define and design algorithmic solutions that guarantee the performance of weapon systems required by customers. To this end, system simulations are used to develop these algorithms and perform performance evaluations. These simulations also allow for the preparation and replay of field tests. They therefore intervene throughout the entire life cycle of weapon systems, from the bidding phase to operational maintenance.
Within a team, on a complex project related to defense systems:
- Participate in the development of key operational algorithms for the solutions
- Industrialize (test/verify/develop) these algorithms
- Define and develop simulation tools to model the functional behavior of the system
- Contribute to the verification of system performance (equipment, system, subsystem)
- Support the preparation and execution activities of real tests
- Contribute to the calibration of reference simulations using real data
- Work in co-engineering with the objective of controlling the costs, deadlines, and quality of the produced elements.
Your profile With a successful first experience in the design of algorithmic solutions and/or validation in performance simulations, you have good knowledge of numerical methods, signal processing, or automatic control. You master the development of complex systems (defense, aeronautics) and know how to find innovative or state-of-the-art solutions according to needs. Experience in the field of defense systems (radar and optronic sensors, communication systems, L16 tactical data link, command and control systems, defense networks, missile fire control, ...) would be appreciated. You have been able to develop your skills in Matlab / Simulink and have advanced knowledge of software engineering principles (software Configuration Management, continuous integration). You have a good level of English. You are familiar with software engineering languages, technologies, and tools: Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, ADA, GIT, Gitlab, JIRA, Doors, Polarion, continuous integration, Jenkins, Sonarcube, Polyspace...
You are sensitive to compliance with "Cost-Quality-Deadline" and the Design to Cost approach. Comfortable with oral and written communication, you enjoy teamwork (co-engineering).
