Your daily life The Toulouse Champollion site brings together activities in satellite systems engineering, payload design and realization, and ground segment development and qualification. It also integrates a research center and an industrial accelerator for startups and ventures, as well as activities related to very low temperature science, with the development and production of micromechanical coolers for demanding markets.
Your tasks
Within the Digital Solutions Competence Center, the Ground Software discipline designs, develops, and maintains software solutions enabling the ground operation of space systems. Our teams work on critical projects for satellite control, mission data processing, ground operations automation, and the integration of innovative digital solutions.
As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a Ground Software Developer to strengthen our teams at the Digital Solutions Competence Center.
You will be responsible for the following missions
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications (mainly in Java, Python)
- Implement scalable and secure microservices architectures according to projects
- Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate developments into CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with system, IVVQ, cybersecurity, operations, and support teams
Requirements
A graduate of an engineering school or an equivalent university degree in computer science, software, or systems, you have a successful first experience in software development, ideally acquired in an industrial environment, on complex systems or under high constraints
Do you master the development languages Java, Python, and C?
Do you know containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architectures, and their deployment on the cloud?
Do you have experience in backend and frontend application development?
Do you master version control tools (Git), continuous integration and CI/CD, as well as best practices for testing, documentation, and code review?
Are you recognized for your rigor, team spirit, technical curiosity, and autonomy?
Does your level of technical English allow you to understand and write technical documents?
