Your daily life The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient networks and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

The DIS Competence Center (System Engineering Directorate) of the Mobile NetWorks (MNW) sector designs and delivers resilient telecommunications network and infrastructure system solutions for our defense sector clients. Within this CC, you will join, as the Engineering WorkPackage Manager of a Lot integrating software for a Satellite constellation Network, the Solution Engineering Delivery (SED) Service, which brings together delivery managers (EDM and eWPM) whose main mission consists of steering realization, production, and support activities within projects. The constellation, which you will work on, is intended for an international client and will consist of a multi-orbital satellite network (low and medium orbits) and will provide our end customers with a secure and autonomous communication infrastructure. Its mesh, eventually covering the entire surface of the globe, will offer a high level of end-to-end services, with a dynamically adaptable network.

As part of your duties, you will be entrusted with the following missions:

  • Translating requirements at your scope level and structuring internal engineering elements,
  • Defining the development, integration, and validation strategy in coherence with the elements expected by the Engineering Delivery Manager at the solution level,
  • Technical and organizational coordination with the various project stakeholders (domestic or international).
  • Technical and organizational support for activities carried out internally,
  • Technical steering in support of the Project Design Authority, as well as financial and schedule steering of the engineering activities within your scope in coordination with the various stakeholders,
  • Mastery of meeting commitments made to the project, risks and opportunities, and the delivery process,
  • Approval of engineering standards and engineering plans for lower-level elements or components,
  • Reporting to the project management team and the discipline manager.

Your profile With an Engineer/Master's degree background, you have at least 5 years of experience in an equivalent execution management position in the development of complex systems, aeronautical or defense, with a predominant software focus in an international environment. You have an in-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and processes. You have skills in client negotiation, co-contracting, and subcontracting management. You have a good level of English, both spoken and written. V
