By joining us in Meudon, you will join the Thales Group headquarters located on the banks of the Seine and organized as a true campus, bringing together notably our digital identity and security activities.

As part of the modernization of our financial processes and our digital transformation trajectory (SAP S/4HANA, automation of closings, compliance with electronic invoicing reform), we are looking for a BlackLine Product Owner to lead and evolve our Financial Close Automation platform.

You will be the key interlocutor between the Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure that BlackLine meets business challenges.

In this context, your main missions will be:

Steering the BlackLine solution and international deployment***Define and prioritize the BlackLine product roadmap in connection with the Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and Operations teams.

• Lead the integration of BlackLine with the existing SAP S/4HANA ecosystem for the Zenith program while participating in the general design, applicable to other entities / ERPs
• Write and manage the backlog (user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria)
• Guarantee the compliance of closing processes with regulatory requirements (IFRS, PCG, internal control)
• Support subsidiaries in change management and solution adoption (training, communications, support)

Stakeholder Management***Be the guarantor of good coordination between entities aiming for the application of the Group's finance processes in the deployed tools, particularly BlackLine

• Act as the relay between operational entities and the reliability of the group's financial communication
• Collaborate closely with IT experts who provide technical tool expertise (backlog writing, functional specifications, acceptance criteria)
• Coordinate with other Finance digitalization projects (Basware, Generix, eACQ) to ensure the consistency of the Finance IT system

Platform Administration and Governance***Define and implement the target organization for the administration and governance of the BlackLine platform at the Group scale

• Define roles, users, profiles, rules, and workflows of the BlackLine platform
• Supervise data quality and solution performance
• Define and maintain the platform's governance rules
• Guarantee compliance with internal control and compliance requirements

Continuous Improvement***Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of financial closing processes

• Monitor new features offered by BlackLine (notably upcoming AI modules)
• Track adoption KPIs and propose continuous improvement areas

Your profile:

You have a higher education background (Master 2 or equivalent) in the field of Information Systems and/or Finance and possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role. You are bilingual in English in order to evolve within an international environment.

With a high sense of organization, you are rigorous and reliable in the processing and analysis of numerical data.

You have specialized financial knowledge in the R2R (Record To Report) process, a solid understanding of IFRS and/or local standards, as well as mastery of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes (journal entries, account reconciliations: trial balance, intercompany accounts, fixed assets, banks, etc. You have significant experience (deployment or administration) on the BlackLine platform (Account Reconciliation, Task Management, Transaction Matching, Intercompany) and are capable of taking on a Product Owner role: definition and prioritizati
