Your daily life
The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/test of satellites, as well as in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.
The DSI is organized in a matrix manner across 5 European countries; we provide our services to the 11,000 TAS users across its entire European high-technology industrial footprint.
By joining us as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you are responsible for the vision, technical and technological strategy, and its implementation in the SI in coherence with the business, technological, and cyber orientations of the entity.
In this capacity, your main missions are: Align the vision with the business strategy: Define and drive the technical and technological vision in alignment with the business plan and MYB of the entity; Contribute to the development of the DSI MYB; Define and supervise the target architectures of the SI; Identify innovations / technological shifts (R&D, technological monitoring, POC), game changers for the entity's competitiveness.Drive technological performance: Define and monitor technical KPIs and guarantee the performance and availability of the SI; Define and lead the decision-making process for technical and technological choices and present them to the governance bodies of TAS and the THALES group; Supervise the implementation of these directives within projects and current operations, ensuring their technical and security compliance, and their overall coherence.Guarantee a reliable SI: Master technical debt and drive the strategy for managing SI obsolescence; Define and formalize technical policies, standards, architectures, and target solutions for infrastructure, networks, workstations, digital platforms, and operational security in relation to the Group; Identify and scope priority projects for SI reliability.***Build and grow the technical team: Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (DSI, production, business lines, service providers, subsidiaries, SSI) in the definition and execution of technical solutions; Define the recruitment and skill development plan for tech teams to meet the technological vision and propose resource optimization scenarios (infrastructure, managed services, licenses, etc.) in agreement with the sourcing, urbanization, and cloudification strategy; Develop the tech culture within the DSI and contribute to the entity's CTO community (JV, Country, Discipline).

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in information systems engineering, computer science, or a similar curriculum, you possess the following skills: 10 to 15 years of experience in IT and at least 5 years in a senior technical leader role (CTO, Deputy CTO, Technical Director / Architect) within a large group;Mastery of IT architectures, infrastructures, security, networks, applications, and emerging technologies;Experience in management and team leadership;***Fluent English and multicultural work experience.
