Your daily life At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales' most important technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense solutions, high-technology security, and digital services.
Within the Support Design and Digital Services Department (60 people) and reporting to the head of the Logistics Studies Service (15 people), you will conduct reliability and safety studies on land or airborne optronic products, drones, or even missile electronic equipment.
Your missions are as follows:
- Perform predictive reliability analyses (failure rate calculations, FIDES analyses, MIL HDBK analyses, AMDEC) and lifetime studies on electronic systems and subsystems;
- Perform RETEX reliability studies on deployed fleets to feed MCO models;
- Perform testability studies to optimize test coverage and facilitate maintenance (detection rate calculations, localization rate);
- Perform safety analyses (Fault Trees, common mode analyses, MBSA) to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements and standards;
- Participate in drafting requirements and justification files regarding reliability and safety;
- Support design teams in incorporating reliability and safety constraints from the early stages of projects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process (normative and technological monitoring)
Your profile Master's degree (Bac+5), you have good knowledge of electronics with at least 2 years of initial experience in reliability applied to electronic and mechanical equipment. You master reliability, testability, and safety methodologies (AMDEC, FTA, MBSA...) Knowledge of standards (FIDES, MIL HDBK, CEI 61508, ARP4761, MIL-STD-882 or equivalents) Technical written English Your qualities are rigor and an analytical and critical spirit.
