Your daily life: The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/test of satellites, as well as in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.
Thales Alenia Space is a major European player in space telecommunications, navigation, and Earth observation, offering a full range of services and solutions: dual missions (civil/military), constellations, satellites with flexible payloads, altimetry, meteorology, and high-resolution optical instruments.
By joining the Legal and Contracts department of Thales Alenia Space, your main missions will be:
- Manage and lead the Cannes team (5p) with a focus on progressing the skills of each team member, in coordination with the Legal and Contracts Director of Thales Alenia Space France
- Represent the Legal and Contracts Department within the Cannes establishment.
- Participate in the meetings of the Thales Alenia Space Legal and Contracts department network and contribute to defined improvement actions
- Contribute to the implementation of the Group's compliance program within the company in connection with the Compliance Officer of Thales Alenia Space France, the Chief Compliance Officer of Thales Alenia Space France, and the network of Compliance Officers of Thales Alenia Space
In addition to management and compliance activities, the position covers a wide spectrum of operational activities for both export and institutional markets in France and for export for both Business Lines.
Your Profile: Action-oriented, do you know how to manage and plan priorities and workload?
Equipped with good analytical and synthesis skills combined with the ability to propose solutions in a complex environment, do you have excellent qualities of judgment and risk assessment?
Are you recognized for your pragmatism, rigor, leadership, and pedagogical skills to support and develop the team?
With a Master's degree (bac+5), you have confirmed management experience within the legal and contracts department of an international company. You have acquired managerial skills focused on development, supporting the team, distributing files, as well as their follow-up. Your English allows you to negotiate and exchange easily with your peers (another language would be an additional asset, particularly Italian or Spanish).
