Research & Development Officer Samut Sakhon Province Working 6 Days/Week
- Research, develop, and improve formulas for instant noodle products, sauces, and seasonings, from concept development to production and commercial launch.
- Conduct laboratory-scale and pilot-scale experiments, along with recording results and preparing detailed reports.
- Evaluate raw materials and ingredients, including coordinating with suppliers to request specifications and technical data of raw materials.
- Conduct sensory quality assessments and product shelf-life testing, while supporting the establishment of product standards.
- Prepare and verify product formulas, 100% Breakdown ingredient lists, and technical documents to comply with the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and relevant export market regulations.
- Support the scale-up of production processes from experimental to industrial scale, and coordinate production trials with the Production and Quality Assurance departments.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for product innovation and cost improvement.
- Maintain laboratory records, product samples, and various documents in accordance with GMP and HACCP standards.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales departments to translate consumer and customer needs into product development guidelines.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or other related fields. 2–5 years of experience in Research and Development, Product Development, or food formulation, especially in instant noodles, seasonings, sauces, or processed foods. Knowledge of food product development, raw materials, formulation development, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life testing. Experience in laboratory-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale production scale-up. Experience with flour-based products, noodles, seasonings, or sauce development will be given special consideration. Knowledge of food laws and regulations, ingredient labeling, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. Skills in communication and coordination with relevant departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, Marketing, and suppliers. Good English communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Able to work Monday–Saturday.
