Safety Officer

• Manage and oversee the Fire Equipment system: Inspect, maintain, and perform care for firefighting equipment within the oil terminal to ensure it is always in ready-to-use condition, such as the Fire Pump system, terminal Fire Truck, Hydrants, and other Fire Equipment & PPE.
• Oversee overall safety: Supervise safety and security within the oil terminal area.
• Control hazardous area work (Work Permit): Inspect and control the work of Contractors performing tasks in hazardous areas.
• Training and emergency drills: Participate in basic firefighting training, manage the firefighting training ground (SRB), and coordinate emergency drills.
• Responsible for compliance with regulations, rules, and procedures according to the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and Business Continuity Management System.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Educational background: High Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Able to use Microsoft office and/or related programs at a fair level. Detail-oriented, analytical thinking, and able to work under pressure. Possess problem-solving, management, and coordination skills. Able to drive a car and possess a driver's license. Possess English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing at a fair level. Knowledge regarding firefighting methods, Fire Equipment, or work characteristics related to safety work will be given special consideration.
